The Longmont Sculling Club was founded in 2008 to provide a nurturing environment to scullers of all abilities to enable them to reach their goals through education, training and respect.
Teaching adults and teens to learn to scull, improving the technique of experienced members, and working to increase boat speed or enjoyment on the water, the Club provides equipment for members, and storage for Club and private equipment.
Longmont Sculling Club offers novice and experienced sculling. All of our training and teaching takes place in sculling boats, where each person has 2 oars. The club has quads (4 person boats), doubles and singles for instruction and independent use as a certified club member.
Sculling on Union Reservoir provides the ideal setting for learning and perfecting your stroke. No-wakes means you can focus on your sculling, not the waves created by ski boats. Our boats are conveniently located next to the water for easy carry to start and end your session.
